My Comfort Zone

Hello again friends,

Just wanted to say a quick message that......

I have truly missed reading blogs this weekend,so far. I will have a lot of catching up to do come Monday after my 12's are done for a few days.

Some of the blogs I have had a chance to read I have noticed a lot of my friends are struggling... So I just thought I should share something for them this morning...

My Comfort Zone
Author Unknown

I use to have a Comfort Zone
Where I knew I couldn't fail
The same four walls of busy work
Were really more like jail.

I longed so much to do the things
I'd never done before,
But I stayed inside my Comfort Zone
And paced the same old floor

I claimed to be so busy
With the things inside my zone,
But deep inside I longed for
Something better to come along.

I couldn't let my life go by,
Just watching others win.
I held my breath and stepped outside
And let the change begin.

I took a step and with new strength
I'd never felt before,
I kissed my Comfort Zone 'goodbye'
And closed and locked the door.

If you are in a Comfort Zone,
Afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were
At one time filled with doubt.

A step or two and words of praise,
Can make your dreams come true.
Greet your future with a smile,
Success is there for you!

I really hope it helps!!

Today was a good day, no stress at work ate less than 1200 calories today and had no pop and lots of exercise:-)

I hate to leave so much I want to say and so many friends I want to comment on their days....but I have to go to bed now and sleep so I can get through my last 12 hours. I promise I will catch up on the reading I love it, and gonna try on my days off to get Sean and Courtney to take some more pics:-) Full body shots are coming...

Cheers to new beginnings,
Irene

  2. You are wonderful sweety. I'll wake you up with a nice meal. And those things you wanted me to do for you---they will be done!
But of course you're reading this after the meal---after you discovered my awesomeness---and right before you go in for another 12 hour shift. When does this stretch end again? Rest baby, rest.
    Great inspiration,
    your loving husband,
    Sean

  16. Thank you so much for the lovely comments you left on my blog. I find that I don't have as much time for blogging as I would like, but I do follow and read a number and I find it really motivating. I've been noticing your thumbprint picture as a follower on many of the blogs I visit, from Australia and elsewhere. Your whole family are doing an amazing job inspiring and supporting people! Thank you!
